With more than 35 years to his credit, heavily steeped in the blues , Guitar Mac is practically a blues legend in northern California and Nevada. Clearly a respected member of the community for his significant contributions to the city of Sacramento, he was honored in 1990 at the 14th annual Blues Festival with the Key To The City By Mayor Ann Rudin in 1990 at the 14th annual Blues Festival.Guitar Mac one of our finest treasures in music is also the recipient of the Deejay Of The Year Award bestowed upon him at the 4th annual Bay Area Blues Hall Of Fame Awards. Guitar Mac has been a resident of Sacramento since 1989 performing and promoting the Blues both live and on the air waves of K.C.B.L.&.K.V.M.R..JAZZBEATRADIO.TV Radio.Guitar Mac is one of the finest treasures in music today .Inducted in to the Hall Of Fame in 1991..Performing at hundred of functions over the years you may have seen him at one of the Casinos in Reno or Lake Tahoe . The House Of Blues in Las Vegas, or the California State Fair.Many of the blues Festival .Such as the Monterey Blues Festival.Oakland Heritage Festival .Sacramento Heritage Festival or any where that Blues fan's gather to enjoy the Blues!. |
